Overview

Abed Fakhoury advises and represents clients in various labor and employment matters. His experience includes representing clients in federal litigation and labor disputes arising under the Railway Labor Act. He also has represented clients on claims regarding Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and whistleblowing, as well as contract disputes across multiple forums including federal court, state court, the Office of Administrative Law Judges, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Abed has advised clients on compliance with various state and federal statutes and regulations, including the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and regulations promulgated by the Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Transportation governing drug testing and records reporting.

Prior to joining Littler, Abed worked in the airline practice group of a national law firm. Previously, Abed was a staff attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

During law school, Abed interned for a local firm, enjoyed an externship with the Carter Center’s Democracy Program, worked as a research assistant, and served as a researcher for Emory Law’s International Humanitarian Law Clinic.
