Chrissta Mukherjee serves as the Program Manager for the Class Action Counsel Team. Chrissta manages the Class Action Counsel Team's daily operations and helps develop and implement strategic goals. Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, hiring, training, and supervising Class Action Counsel, and collaborating with team members, clients, and attorneys firm-wide. Chrissta also coordinates with attorneys to manage class, collective, mass, and representative actions, including PAGA matters. She excels in fostering collaboration, and her skills in project management, strategic planning, and team leadership are instrumental in maintaining Littler's reputation for excellence in legal services.
Prior to becoming a Program Manager, Chrissta was Littler CaseSmart Discovery Counsel, as well as the Team Lead for the Littler CaseSmart Class Action Discovery Team. As Team Lead, Chrissta assisted in the hiring and training of new discovery counsel, as well as the ongoing management and supervision of the discovery team. She also helped develop best practices and processes in class, collective, representative, and mass arbitration discovery. As Discovery Counsel, Chrissta partnered with local Littler litigation teams in formulating and executing a discovery strategy for employment in these complex matters. She drafted discovery requests and responses, evaluated the opposing party’s requests and responses, reviewed documents and oversaw document productions, conducted discovery-related legal research and briefing, and prepared for depositions.
Prior to joining Littler, Chrissta served as counsel for clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries handling large, complex, and high-profile cases. She possesses legal project management skills in multi-party litigation and has experience in civil litigation, including products liability, consumer fraud, false claims, and anti-kickback.
